A little over four years ago, God put it on my heart to plant a church in the Market Common community. We began with an incredible launch at the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center in June of 2019. Unfortunately, seven months after we launched, we were faced with a once in a lifetime pandemic which forced us, and most other churches, to temporarily shut down in March of 2020. We were unable to meet as a faith family for four months. 

Because we were unsure if or when we would be able to return to the recreation center, we were led to begin searching for a place which would meet our needs. In July of 2020 we held our first services in our present facility, which we lease. God has blessed us tremendously during our time in this building. Because of this growth, we have outgrown our current children and worship spaces. 

My desire to plant a church in Market Common is stronger than ever! In order to accomplish this goal, we are embarking on a Capital Giving Campaign titled, “IMAGINE.” I am extremely confident that IMAGINE will open new doors for Coastal Life to further the Kingdom of God, as we will be able to effectively broaden our ministries and provide supplemental programs for discipleship and outreach. 

The IMAGINE campaign will challenge us to prayerfully make a three-year commitment over and above our current level of giving. This will require diligent prayer and obedience to God’s leading. I truly believe that you, as a part of the Coastal Life church family, are ready for the challenge this campaign offers. Church, let us boldly and faithfully walk through this endeavor together, believing in God’s provision and grace.

A great theme verse for our campaign is Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or IMAGINE, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
